A slim brushed brass ring, warm rather than bright, with light held behind it. Brass has returned to bathrooms — not the polished gold of a decade ago, but this: muted, grained, closer to bronze in low light. Orbe is the piece that ties a room together when the metalwork is already decided. It answers a brass tap rather than competing with it. Against warm plaster, pale oak or travertine it reads as though it was specified alongside the room rather than added to it afterwards. The frame is deliberately thin. It marks the edge and does nothing more.

Does it need an electrician?
Yes. Orbe is hard-wired to a fused spur rather than plugged in, so it should be installed by a qualified electrician in line with UK bathroom wiring regulations. It is IP44 and Class 1 rated for zones 2 and 3.
Will the brass match my taps?
Brushed brass varies between manufacturers, so an exact match cannot be guaranteed. Orbe sits at the muted, warmer end of the range rather than the bright yellow-gold end, which is where most contemporary brushed brass brassware also sits.
How do I clean it?
A soft dry cloth on the frame and a standard glass cleaner on the mirror, kept off the metal. Avoid abrasive creams or anything acidic, which will dull the brushed finish over time.
